MANUEL GARCÍA HERAS is Senior scientist at Institute of History, Madrid, Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). Ph.D. in Archaeology and Prehistory (Complutense University, 1997) and high degree in Music (Royal High Music Conservatoire, Madrid, 1990). His major academic discipline is Archaeometry and Conservation Science of historic glasses and ceramic materials. His key point in the EMAP project will be the joined archaeometric and acoustic approach to the study of Iron Age pottery horns.
