Marco Boccitto

 

MARCO BOCCITTO, journalist, writer, longtime columnist for il manifesto and radio host for the italian national broadcasting (Radio Rai), devoted himself to research, divulgate and promote musics from all over the world and ages, paying specific attention to african and afro-derivated cultures. Since the eighties to current days he presented several radio programmes, wrote books - Mother Africa e i suoi figli ribelli (Teoria, 1995) and Capo Verde. Un luogo a parte (Exorma, 2013) – and published dozens of reportages from different areas of the world focused on music, society and politics. He is in charge for the EMAP communication management.
