CAJSA S. LUND is ranking as a pioneer in Nordic music archaeology. She is connected to both the University of Lund (Skåne) and the Linnaeus University (Småland) in South Sweden. Her research is focused on Scandinavia’s prehistory and she has written several scholarly articles on these subjects. She also researched and produced the unique CD, The Sounds of Prehistoric Scandinavia, within the series Musica Sveciae. She was one of the founders in 1981 of the Study Group on Music Archaeology of the ICTM, a UNESCO body. Her profile is to make the results of her research come alive for the general public. For this work she has been awarded several prizes. In the framework of the EMAP she is Head Researcher and Artistic Director for Musik i Syd.
