Hypogeum of Ħal-Saflieni, Malta
These are recordings made in the Hypogeum of Ħal-Saflieni in Malta. This rock cut tomb, thought to be around 6000 years old, has amazing acoustics, with reverberation time of over 4 seconds. The recordings were made as part of an Archaeoacoustics conference in Malta. They feature singer and acoustics of painted prehistoric caves expert Iegor Reznikoff.
